The Reggio Emilia Appennine area is a land with a deep and discrete fascination, for intent eyes eager to know places and tastes away from mass tourism routes, and for this reason, even more precious. The capital town of this area is Castelnovo ne’ Monti, a town with ancient roots on the Strada Statale 63, a State Road that is an important connection between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany regions.
Very close to the town centre, under the Pietra di Bismantova -a majestic rock considered one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, and mentioned by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy- there stands the Miramonti Hotel.
A warm and comfortable place, that has been managed for five generations by the Scaruffi family, with a passion that goes beyond the simple dedication to work. A holiday in this fascinating corner of Italy can offer many chances to tourists.
The history of this hotel begins in the town centre in 1912, with Mrs. Ida Rubini Scaruffi, and continues with the construction of the present building in1953.
Nowadays Tilde, Elena, Domenico and Andrea are here to welcome their guests, with modern competence and the usual courtesy.
In our large dining room – particularly suitable for wedding banquets- the Scaruffi family offers the best specialties of the traditional Emilia cuisine, of the mountain regions in particular, with local and fresh products, all prepared and cooked with homemade traditional recipes. These cooking and managing skills have been sharpened for nearly one hundred years of dedication of the same family
